Ongoing Health Measures
Do I have to wear a mask?
Mask are once again required in indoor public spaces in British Columbia.
A new order from B.C.’s provincial health officer Bonnie Henry means anyone 12 or older must wear this face covering starting Aug. 25 whether or not they have been vaccinated or tested negative for COVID-19.
Should I still practice physical distancing?
Physical distancing is no longer necessary. Let's be respectful to one another if we're not completely comfortable with close physical contact. We've been through a lot over the past 18 months and changes to regular contact may take some time. For the sign of peace, a bow or shaking hands is allowed. After Mass, if you do wish to socialize, there is plenty of space on the plaza to greet and mingle with fellow parishioners. We know you will be happy to see one another again!
Is singing allowed now?
Yes, you're welcome to sing from the pews.
During non-pandemic times, if you're feeling sick or have any signs of illness, it's still important to stay home for the sake of others. Each of us to take responsibility for protecting ourselves and our community.
