This is a Parish Initiative--get involved!
Help welcome the Shaboo Family, a family of five from Iraq, sponsored by our parish.
The will be arriving soon, so your help is needed urgently.
We need: Volunteers to help prepare for their arrival, financial donations and pledges, donations of household items, and drivers to pick up donated furniture.
Share your ideas and suggestions--YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
There will be a Special Second Collection for this undertaking on Sunday, February 19th. Cheques should be made out to Christ the Redeemer for a tax receipt at year end, but placed in the special envelope, or write Iraqi Family on the memo line on your cheque. If you have any good used items, please check them off on the list located in the Church foyer and give the list to one of the committee members after Mass on Sunday, February 19th.
